Home to the largest skiable glacier in Europe means this super resort has incredible snow reliability and a large network of pistes and lifts making the resort easy to navigate.
Beginners and intermediates are most at home here, although there is some incredible off-piste to be had. There's even a snowcat connection to the expert off piste area of La Grave, where a guide is most definitely needed.
The town comes alive at night, with plenty to keep everyone entertained. Start off at the on-snow Pano Bar, and finish up at Smithy’s Tavern for some classic apres ski fun.

Worth knowing
The resort is well connected to a host of airports, the nearest being Grenoble only 1.5 hours away. Being France's second oldest resort, so lifts can be slow, but there's plenty of them on offer to make the most of the area. The resort is well known for its active lifestyle and has lots to do away from skis. Book onto a sled dog trip, take a snowy ride on an electric bike or explore the Ice Cave at 3200m. Keep an eye on the slopes in the evening for torchlight descents and firework displays.
Apres ski in Les 2 Alpes
For some mountain top apres, don't miss the Pano Bar on the slopes for early evening parties with stunning views. Once you're down the hill, Umbrella Bar is your go-to for tabletop dancing. Continue the evening with some live music at Polar Bar, then head to Le Bresilien Bar until the early hours
An amazing snow park
A freestyle paradise, the snow park in Les 2 Alpes features a variety of jumps, rails, and boxes for all skill levels. The park's well-maintained terrain includes a half-pipe, boardercross, and dedicated beginner areas. Renowned across the Alps, it's a hub for freestyle enthusiasts.
Festivals in Les 2 Alpes
Les 2 Alpes knows how to put on a party! The season opens with Rise Festival, which has featured Destiny's Child, Chase & Status and a host of other household names. There are also a number of smaller events throughout the year, check out their events calendar to see what's on when you're in town
Summer skiing
For just over two months, Les 2 Alpes opens the glacier in skiing for summer each year, from 3,200m to 3,600m. The snowpark is open, as are 1 green run, 9 blue and 1 red. You'll get the best conditions in the morning, before heading back down to resort level for mountain biking, hiking, spas and stunning alpine views. The vibrant village life with cafes, shops, and events adds to the charm
Hidden gems
Apres Ski
Smithy's has live music and après ski everyday between 5pm and 7pm. It's a traditional Alpine chalet in the centre of resort.

Gourmet Hike - An unaccompanied hike on snowshoes with gourmet delights along the way. Combining the mountains with local specialities.
